 Post subject: ProFTPd and passive mode?

I have a gentoo server and proftpd server installed. However I want to set Passive mode active. How should I do this?

OS:
Linux mariz 2.6.25-gentoo-r2 #6 SMP Thu May 15 09:45:40 UTC 2008 i686 Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Proftpd:
ProFTPD Version 1.3.2

there is a tutorial in the website about this. It's written for Fedora Core. However the differences are only in paths so it should help you.
