Knoppix 5.3.1 is released - Open source guides, news, articles and scripts

A new and updated version of Knoppix is out.Knoppix one of the best live Linux distributions available - you can load it directly from your CD/DVD device without making any changes to the local filesystem.Some of the main updates are:

Linux Kernel 2.6.24.4

KDE 3.9 with compiz-fusion as 3D-window manager (not the latest 4.0.2 version we wrote about)

OpenOffice 2.3.1

VirtualBox OSE

This release version is 5.3.1 and you can download it from one of these sources - Knoppix mirrors
